⚠️ Potentially triggering content. Current politics discussion.
I am afraid. I want to live and I want to live long life. I've already escaped one war, I don't want to be in the middle of a second conflict. Why do we, as a collective never learn? Why do 70 year old men with Alzheimer's choose when to press a button "To kill thousands of peoples"? Why do they and we as a collective even have those buttons?! Who designed these consoles? And why the consoles have not been nerfed after TWO WORLD WARS?
For once in my life I feel that I'm grown up, my life has a meaning and directions. There's a future I look forward to! I want to be able to look forward to my future! I don't want to be depressed, homeless and jobless. I want to be contributing to society and to help people, to help the country of my staying, to help community around me. I do my best together with my wife. We support each other greatly in these trying times and I'm so grateful to be with her. I just wish I could be happily looking into our future without being afraid.
It feels like World War 3 is looming over everyone's head's. And it also seems that the only people afraid are ordinary folk. It feels like the politicians and people in power are stupid kind of fearless.
I'm no historian, no politician, so you definitely don't have to take my next words into account. But I feel like there's should be a collective earth-wide strike of anyone who starts wars. Isolate them, strip them of all political and economical power in the international space. Their words should not be listened to, period.
All this pursuit of power and greed, it's so pointless. Always, always is, but it seems our collective never learns to crush the ticks. I'd think it should be obvious where they are by now.
Sorry for the negative post, but I needed to pour this somewhere.
